ABout The Project
Mobile app supporting survivors of torture and immigrants in New Mexico, offering a safe space and essential resources for building self-sufficiency.
My Role
This project was a solo endeavor, where I personally handled all aspects including research, ideation, wire-framing, prototyping, and user testing.
timeframe
8 Weeks
The Problem
Survivors of torture in New Mexico often struggle to access available resources from community organizations, hindering their ability to integrate into communities, heal, and thrive.
The Solution
To support survivors on their path to recovery, I developed a mobile app that centralizes essential services and resources. Partnering with WINGS, the only Survivors of Torture program in New Mexico, the app offers a referral system that unlocks exclusive support features, empowering users to build self-sufficiency and connection within their communities.
