The Problem
The New Mexico History Museum wanted to create a display that could highlight a rotating selection of artifacts while maintaining conservation standards and visual impact. The challenge was to design an exhibit that balanced structure, accessibility, and storytelling within a clean, modern gallery space.
The Solution
Our team collaborated with the museum to design The New Mexico Showcase—a pair of large display cases inspired by cabinets of curiosity. While our fabrication team engineered the physical structures, I led the design of the exhibit graphics, shaping the visitor experience through layout, typography, and interpretive design. The result is a refined presentation that connects historical artifacts with a contemporary visual language, inviting visitors to rediscover New Mexico’s stories through design and craft.
